WELCOME

Living Portraits are art in real life. We custom make the backdrop, paint the model and her clothes to fit into that backdrop and fire away. It is such a fun experience as the models are truly works of art.

GET STARTED

This session is all about you and how you want to be photographed.  We meet to discuss your ideas or concepts for the painted set and clothes and together come up with a vision for your shoot.

Creating art is is my passion and I love the whole process from the concept to designing the set to painting the clothes to the day of the shoot and even the editing and printing.  I know you will love it too.

I have always loved creating even from a small girl.  I even used to build and paint furniture.  I studied architecture and interior design in school but it is photography and creating art within that space that has my heart.  Let me show you the way I see you.

I invite you to a session with me and promise to change the way you see yourself

"your future doesn't lie ahead of you, waiting to happen.
it lies deep inside of you,
waiting to be discovered."

"beauty is what you feel about yourself,
not what you see in the mirror."

BECOMING ART

"... IT WAS HER MOST MEMORABLE EVENT OF THE SUMMER."

"Addy Pearl was one of their first Living Portrait Sessions and from the beginning, it was absolutely amazing.  During the session it seemed so real like she was part of an actual painting.  It literally brought me to tears watching.  To this day these are some of our most cherished photos we have.

CLIENT reviews

"IT SEEMED SO REAL LIKE SHE WAS PART OF AN ACTUAL PAINTING."

"Kinley had the most amazing time with Kelly during her Living Portrait Session.  She was treated like a model and truly felt like one.  She even said it was her most memorable event of the summer.  Kelly and her team are very professional and passionate about their work and it shows.  We had a vision and they made it come to life.  It was so amazing to see it in person too. I cannot recommend them enough."

"Life is too short to chase anything that doesn't light a fire inside of you"

For a Living Portrait there are a few more steps.  We first meet to discuss the concept.  Once we are clear, we will paint the background, the clothes and any other props ahead of time.  On the day of the shoot, we will paint the models and begin the session.  Painting takes about an hour and we shoot for a couple hours or until we get what we are looking for.

For the props and clothes, we use regular house paint or acrylic paint.  On the body we use body paints that are water based so we have an easy clean up.

After the session it takes about two weeks to get them edited and ready for showing.  I provide you with a reveal session where you come back to the studio to see your images.  It is then that you will choose the images you love.  You can choose from a folio box or wall portraits.  And digitals too.

The session is $250 and then we have a minimum order of $1200.  On average most people end up spending $1500.  You are going to love them all and it is always hard to narrow them down.  I do keep them for 2 years so if you ever want to come back to order more, that option is there. And we can offer payment plans.
